The Gulf is filled with soundings, anchorages, rocks, and shoals, as well as the archipelago of the Pearl Islands. Four insets fill the interior, including a close-up of the bay surrounding Panama City and the Bay of San Miguel. Engraved by E. Blondeau with lettering by F. Lefevre. The price is stamped below the neatline at bottom right: "Prix. Deux Francs."

A nice impression on hand-laid, watermarked paper with very light offsetting and minor soiling. There is a bluish line along the centerfold that is caused by our scanner and does not appear on the map itself.
