Attractive small map covering most of present-day Hungary with Buda Ofen and Pest (Budapest) at center, but also including a bit of Austria with Vienna. The Danube River flows diagonally across the map. Richly engraved with mountains, cities and forests and a small title/scale cartouche. From the English edition of Mercator's Atlas Minor, which was published under the title Historia Mundi or Mercators Atlas by Michael Spark and Samuel Cartwright. English text on verso.
