A detailed map of southern Russia and eastern Ukraine with Moscow shown as a fortified city just north of center. The strongly engraved copper plate map is based on the work of Guillaume Delisle (de l'Isle). The map shows the mountains, rivers, lakes, swamps and forests, as well as the roads and towns.

Bold original color on paper with a large elephant watermark. There is light toning along the centerfold and printer's creases at bottom and at far left.
