This uncommon map of the Russian Empire is filled with detail of rivers, political boundaries, and forests. The map extends from the Baltic and Black Seas to beyond the Caspian Sea. Adorned with a decorative title cartouche featuring a bear and a bowman. Engraved by Georgio Widman.

A nice example on sturdy, watermarked paper with light soiling and archival repairs to a short tear and several small worm tracks, all confined to the blank margins.
