This tiny map depicts the region of Tuscany, with north oriented to the left, extending from Siena to Orbetello. The extensive river system is shown along with many towns. The map was engraved by the brothers Ambrose and Ferdinand Arsenius who had been assistants to Frans Hogenburg and co-engravers of Ortelius' folio Theatrum. This series of maps was accompanied by text by Michel Coignet and was published by Jan van Keerbergen. Latin text on verso.

An excellent impression on a clean, bright sheet with a small chip at top right that has been professionally repaired, with a minute amount of neatline replaced in facsimile.
