This detailed state map features only 32 established counties, current to 1855. There are two railroads, one spanning from Tallahassee to St. Marks and the other from Jacksonville to Alligator. There is good detail of roads, forts and villages, rivers, and swamps. An inset, Plan of the Florida Keys, continues to show the Keys to Tortugas Islands. Dated 1855, but this is the issue with plain borders, likely published 1857.
