Two early charts of Ventura and San Luis Obispo, issued by the Corps of Engineers. Each presents very good coastal detail including soundings, bottom types, wharves and more. Interior detail includes topography via contour lines and individual buildings are located. Both charts are signed in the plate by Colonel Stewart, Chief Engineer. Sizes vary slightly.
