Handsome little map of the continent with a strapwork title cartouche. A remnant of the Southern Continent, Terres Inconnues is shown at bottom and the mythical Lac Moncontos appears in the center of the continent. Published in M. Robbe's Methode pour Apprendre Facilement la Geographie.

Issued folding on watermarked paper with very light toning. A minor fold separation in the bottom blank margin has been closed on verso with archival tape.
