The map is surrounded by 24 superb views of Portuguese and Spanish cities including: Lisbon, Braga, Evora, Coimbra, Elvas, Portalegre, Aronces, Ferreira do Alentejo, Mont Santo/Idanha Velha dans le Beira, Faro, Castelo Branco, Salvatierra, Cadix, Sevilla, Toledo, Madrid, Villa Viscosa, Estremoz, Setubal, Porto, St. Giaco a l'Entre du Tage. Flanking the map are columns of text describing the country of Portugal. The map is adorned with a title cartouche featuring the coats of arms of important cities and regions.
