This attractive view of Rome was issued in an Italian edition of Thomas Salmon's Modern History. The engraving shows the city from a slight elevation with St. Peters Basilica prominently depicted at right. Fertile farmland and several roads leading to the city are shown in the foreground.

References:

Condition: B+

A dark impression with a small repaired edge tear at lower right that just touches the border. A small fold separation is confined to the bottom blank margin.
