Only 150 copies of this rare and handsome book were published; this is #38. It was privately printed by William Fell for Boies Penrose and features a facsimile of a manuscript chart of the East Indies. The main thesis of the book is that this chart was likely made by the Magellan expedition. The rest of the narrow volume is dedicated to notes on the chart. Hardbound in brown cloth on boards, protected by a sheet of Mylar.

Contents are very good with minor toning. Hinge is just beginning to start. Covers lightly soiled with light shelf wear.
