A beautifully engraved chart of the Azores based on Luis Teixeira's cartographic work with three ornate title cartouches and a title banner at top center. The sea is fully engraved in stipple and features a sea monster and sailing ships. Latin text on verso, published 1603.

References: Van den Broecke #24.

Condition: B+

A nice impression on a watermarked sheet with a small wormhole near the centerfold at bottom and minor scattered foxing that is most visible in the blank margins.
