This is a very handsome map of the Bavarian region of southern Germany centered on the Danube and Isar Rivers. Bold strapwork cartouches dominate the right side of the map. French text on verso.

References: Van den Broecke #110.

Condition: A

A sharp impression on a clean, bright sheet bearing the horn watermark commonly found on Ortelius maps. There is light toning along the edges of the sheet, a paper flaw in the left blank margin, and a manuscript page number below the neatline.
