Extremely detailed map of the vicinity of Stuttgart, which is depicted at center. The map covers the densely populated region and extends to include Heilbronn, Ulm and Pforzheim. This map replaced a smaller map of Wirtenberg in Ortelius' atlas in 1579 and is credited to Georg Gadner. The title is enclosed in a large strapwork cartouche and two monkeys adorn the distance scale. French text on verso.
