Two fine maps on a full folio sheet; the region centered on Venice, Padova and Vicenza in one map and Puglia and Calabria in the other. Both maps were based on the cartography of Jacobo Gastaldi. Embellished with strapwork cartouches, coat of arms, sailing ship and sea monster. French text on verso.

A sharp impression on a clean sheet bearing the horn watermark commonly found on Ortelius maps. There is very light toning along the centerfold and a manuscript page number below the neatline.
