A handsome, detailed map of the southern portion of the Kingdom of Naples from the Gulf of Taranto to Reggio Calabria, and extending to also include Sicily. The map is filled with hundreds of place names, mountain ranges, and rivers as well as political boundary lines. Includes an inset of Malta at bottom right. Adorned by a decorative title cartouche featuring an erupting Mt. Etna. First published by Gilles Robert de Vaugondy in 1750, and here reissued by Santini.
