This is the first edition of this volume by Henry Harisse, which collects notes and additions to accompany the Bibliotheca Americana Vetustissima. The focus is on historical and geographical works related to the New World published prior to 1551. It contains 186 articles, a third of which describe extremely rare editions. Paper wrappers, pages uncut. 199 pages.

Contents good with some chips and tears on the back pages of the book and some minor scattered foxing along the edges of some pages. Wrappers have short tears and are starting, and there is a chip at top on the back cover.
