This reference tells the early history of the upper Ohio River through a selection of 54 maps, plans, and views, with text describing their importance and their makers. There are a number historic illustrations and maps made by Indians and Colonists from 1673 to 1783. 132 pages, with numerous black and white plates. Hardbound in green cloth with gilt titles on spine and a dust jacket.

Contents are tight. Covers have very minor shelf wear. There are chips and tears on the dust jacket, especially concentrated along the spine.
