Matched pair of maps of the hemispheres. In the Western Hemisphere, California is shown as an island and there are several disembodied coastlines in the Pacific and the region labeled Terres Australes. In the Eastern Hemisphere, Australia is still in a conjectural form and there is a partial coastline of the southern continent labeled Terres Incognues. A tiny galleon decorates the Eastern Hemisphere map. French text on verso.
