This charming small map shows the region between Brussels and Antwerp, with the cities of Mechelen and Lier in bird's-eye-plan format. The map is oriented with north to the bottom, and is adorned with strapwork and distance scale cartouches. German text on verso. This map is very rare as it only appeared in the last two editions of Jansson's Atlas Minor in 1648-51.

A nice impression on watermarked paper with light, scattered foxing that is mostly confined to the blank margins.
