This terrific, large map of the Iberian peninsula includes the Balearic Islands and part of the northern coast of Africa. It is filled with Homann's typical level of detail, which includes early roads, and is adorned with a marvelous title cartouche supported by two mermen and containing the coats of arms of the fourteen Spanish provinces. A visually striking map with a second cartouche at lower left and an alternate Spanish title above the map: "El Reyno de Sepanna Dividido en Dos Grandes Estados de Aragon y de Castilla, Subdividido en Muchas Provincias, donde se Halla Tambien el Reyno de Portugal."
