This very rare and striking panoramic view of the city of Geneva depicts the fortified city engaged in battle, with numerous cannons firing. A lettered key identifies 26 of locations. The city is viewed from the south, with the Rhone River at left and the Arve River running along the bottom of the view. Printed on two sheets, joined. Engraved by J. Poinssart.
