This elegant map covers the Peloponnese peninsula and the Ionian Islands, with several smaller islands identified as well. Numerous places are named, including Athens on the mainland, and there is good topographical detail showing mountains, forests, and rivers. There is a naval battle and a single galley in the Ionian Sea. The decorative title cartouche is flanked by allegorical figures, and another cartouche encasing the distance scales is surrounded by putti. German text on verso.
