This is a reduced version of Mercator's map of Turkey with the Greek Archipelago and Cyprus. The map is filled with place names and is adorned with a vertical distance scale and a drape-style title cartouche. German text on verso. This map is very rare as it was engraved for the last edition of Jansson's Atlas Minor in 1651.

A nice impression on watermarked paper with light, scattered foxing that is confined to the blank margins.
