This map appeared in Lopez de Vargas Machuca's scarce Atlas Elemental Moderno, which was intended as a school atlas. The map extends from India through Southeast Asia and identifies major rivers, mountains, and cities. At right is a table identifying the various political divisions in the region and their association with one another.
