Nice lot of copper engraved illustrations from the Old Testament depicting various scenes from the First Book of Samuel. Illustrations include David defeating Goliath, Saul hurling a spear at David, and Eli's death upon hearing the news that the Ark of God has been captured. There are two scenes (7 x 5.3") on each sheet. They are from a Dutch biblical history by Ysbrand van Hamelsveld.

Dark impressions on watermarked paper with scattered foxing primarily confined to the blank margins and toning along the edges of the sheets.
