This is a beautiful pocket bird's-eye view of the picturesque region extending from Casco Bay in Portland, Maine, inland to Sebago Lake, with New Hampshire's Mt. Washington and the Crawford Notch in the distance. The vista extends to Lewiston, Harpswell, Freeport, and Gorham among the many communities shown. The routes between the islands that the Casco Bay ships ran at that time are noted. Casco Bay Lines ferry services are still active in that area. This attractive view folds loosely into cream paper covers (4 x 7") and was issued by the Maine Central R.R.
