This matching set of maps comes from the English edition of Mercator's Atlas Minor, which was published under the title Historia Mundi or Mercators Atlas by Michael Spark and Samuel Cartwright. English text on verso. Sizes vary slightly.

A. Corsica [on sheet with] Sardinia. Two small maps of Corsica and Sardinia on a single sheet. Each is filled with depictions of the topography and cities and is adorned with a decorative title cartouche.

B. Sicilia. Delightful small map of Sicily filled with topographical detail and place names. A smoking Mt. Etna is depicted at right. The map is adorned with a strapwork title cartouche.
