This map extends all the way from the Mediterranean and Black Seas to the Gulf of Thailand, showing ancient kingdoms, numerous cities, rivers, and topography. The banner-style title cartouche is held aloft by a putto, while at top right is a vignette of a king dropping into an urn the recently decapitated head of another king. The large executioner stands beside the gruesome corpse. Engraved by J. Wandelaer and published in John Leland's De Rebus Britannicis Collectanea.
