The maps are generally good with light toning, foxing, and offsetting. The world map has a dampstain in the image and is trimmed to inside the left border with minor loss of image. Text is good to very good with toning and foxing that is more prominent in the last 100 pages of the volume. A previous owner's bookplate is present on the front pastedown. The spine and hinges are cracked and the edges of the covers are bumped.
