This superb large-scale sea chart covers the coasts of Labrador and Newfoundland with the Strait of Belle Isle and part of the Gulf of St. Lawrence in great detail. The chart is dominated by the huge decorative title cartouche. Light brown rhumb lines are printed from a secondary plate, added around the time of publication.

A dark and crisp impression on a sturdy watermarked sheet with a light smudge along the centerfold, minor offsetting, and marginal foxing and toning.
