This informative map of Minnesota delineates the railroad grants and locates gold, iron, and copper deposits and mines. Other details include 71 counties, numerous towns, land offices, completed and projected railroads, and more. County configuration predates 1866 as Beltrami has yet to form in the north.

Backed with original linen and issued folding. There is toning along the fold lines and several small fold separations that have been mostly closed on verso with archival tape. There are binding trims at top and bottom left, both of which are trimmed to the neatline.
