This map depicts northern South America extending south of the Amazon River, well into Brazil and Peru. A small remnant of the mythical L. Parime still appears in Guyana. There is good detail of the water systems, mountains and villages throughout. The title cartouche features a small village. Lettering by G. Pitteri.

A sharp impression with original color on a bright sheet with three watermarks: a large coat of arms, three moons and "REAL." There is minor toning along the centerfold and short centerfold separations at top and bottom that have been closed on verso with old paper.
