A lovely early map of border region between England and Scotland. The seas are engraved in Mercator's characteristic moire pattern and the interior is filled with detail. The large strapwork title cartouche encompasses the distance scale. Latin text on verso.

A dark impression with a chip in the lower right corner of the sheet that does not impact the map image.
