Morden's small map of the western hemisphere shows the island of California on the second Sanson model. There is little detail in the interior of North America with only a few cities and states named. The entire region west of the Mississippi River is labeled Nova Mexicana while Mexico and Central America are Nova Hispania. Only two of the Great Lakes are shown, and the northwest coast of North America is left blank. This is the third state, with the lines of longitude at bottom declining from 368 degrees. On a full sheet of English text measuring 6.2 x 7.9".
