Inset with a map of the border region that surrounds the falls from Lake Ontario to Lake Erie. Condition: Issued folding on watermarked paper with minor offsetting. (B+)
B. Trigonometrical Survey of the Falls of Niagara..., by W.S. Haines, circa 1843, black & white (15.7 x 8.4"). Presents over 50 triangulations in the vicinity of Niagara Falls, with most measurements concentrated along the two waterfalls. Also identifies a museum and barracks on the Canadian side. Issued in James Hall's Geology of New York. Condition: Minor mildew stains along the left and right border. Issued folding. (B+)
