This uncommon Spanish map was published in the atlas to accompany J. Torner's Diccionario geografico universal.... It was issued shortly after Mexican independence and includes all of California, Texas, and the American Southwest. The map extends further south to include Central America, and east to Florida. In the Great Basin, two spurious rivers link Lake Timpanogos and Lake Teguayo to the Pacific Ocean. Surrounded by a keyboard style border.
