This fine map of present-day Israel is oriented with north to the right. Tiny ships and the track of Apostle Paul are shown in the sea. Dutch text on verso. Engraved by Albert Schut. This is the first state.

A dark impression, issued folding with minor toning, a few faint spots of foxing, and archival repairs to a short centerfold separation at bottom and two short tears that just pass the neatline at top.
