This colorful pictorial map was created by Jaques Liozu and published by Ode Paris. It locates and identifies the numerous islands in the region and names the larger cities in Australia. The map features a number of humorous illustrations including a kangaroo punching a local, a native getting hit by a boomerang, and a sawtooth shark chasing a swimmer. The map is enclosed in a decorative border featuring the flags of the various colonial powers in the region along with the flags of Australia and New Zealand.
