New Mexico includes present-day Arizona, but pre-Gadsden Purchase. Washington and Oregon extend to the Continental Divide, while large Nebraska and Northwest territories occupy the space between the Rockies and the Missouri River. Missing the large folding map of the United States at rear. 272 pp. Hardbound in gilt stamped brown cloth boards with gilt title on front cover and spine.
