This small Dutch map shows California as an island, and Terra Iesso stretching across the North Pacific from Fretum Anian nearly to Japan. The Carpenteria coast of Australia and Quiri Regio (Solomon Islands) appear in the South Pacific. A small compass rose and a charming decorative title cartouche complete the composition.

A dark impression on a clean sheet. There are a few minor worm tracks in the top right corner of the sheet, far from the map image.
