This appealing illustrated map of Napa County by Weld Wilkie is printed in a pamphlet titled "Pictorial Map of Napa County California with 4 Suggested Tours." Surrounded by a grapevine border, the map highlights the numerous attractions of the region, including hiking, horseback riding, fishing, camping, golf, dining, and, of course, wine. An inset describes Napa's four seasons: "Blossom Time," "Summertime," "Harvest Time," and "Autumn Time." Three vignettes at left depict golfing in the shadow of Mt. Helena, water-skiing on Lake Berryessa, and the largest stone winery in the world. The title appears on a wine barrel cartouche. There is a brief historical overview at right with two keys beneath it identifying 14 notable wineries and 35 points of interest. The verso features tour information and photographs of the region. Developed by the Napa County Tourist and Recreation Council, and published by Herdell and Beard.
