This humorous map is actually a paper restaurant placemat showing an exaggerated Texas and extolling many "facts" of Texas, Amarillo, and the restaurant. In addition to the oversized Texas, the globe map shows "DamYankee" Territory, Dixie Land, Texas Pond (Gulf of Mexico), and Texas Lake (Pacific Ocean). A sampling of the "facts" amusing to this cataloger include: "All Amarillo clouds are sliver lined", "Amarilloan's have biggest hats and hearts of any race of people on EARTH", and "Amarillo's Women most Beautiful in the World for their size & their size is ample." Compliments of Homer Rice, Owner of Long Champ in Amarillo and published by H.H. Hutson.
