Handsome, copper engraved map with good detail of Cuba and Jamaica. The map includes the Caymans and part of the Bahamas. This is a very rare, more decorative edition of Bonne's map, with a compass rose, a wind rose, and numerous sailing galleons added. Engraved by Pietro Scattaglia. We were not able to find any other examples of this edition of the map.

A crisp impression on paper with a round medallion watermark, light soiling, and 3" tear that extends through Jamaica that has been archivally repaired.
