A scarce and sharply engraved chart with tremendous coastal detail showing dozens of rivers, towns, and forts. Interior detail is limited to the exaggerated and somewhat inaccurate topography. The map depicts Basse-Terre, Grande-Terre, Marie-Galante, the Iles des Saintes, and the western tip of the island of La Desirade. Adorned with four compass roses.
