This is a very uncommon small plan of Cartagena, the important hub of the Spanish empire in South America. The plan includes a key that identifies the important public buildings, churches and fortifications. The map is oriented with north in the bottom left corner.

A nice impression on watermarked paper with soiling along the right edge of the sheet, well away from the image.
