This elegantly engraved map of Scotland divides the area into its historic provinces. The map identifies a plethora of towns, cities, rivers, and lochs. Surrounding islands are depicted in fine detail. An inset map at top zooms in on the Shetland archipelago. The decorative title cartouche at top right features a coat-of-arms and other symbols of Scottish might. Drawn and engraved by R.W. Seale.
