Large map of southern France covering the region from Nice and Monaco into Italy as far as Varaggio and Invrea and extending north to show Turin. Excellent detail throughout showing towns and many walled, mountain top villages with attractive iconography. Inset of area surrounding Nice to include Fort de Montalban and le Chateau.

Condition: A

Original outline color with later color in the cartouche and inset at bottom. There are a few small spots of foxing at bottom center and archival repairs to a centerfold separation that enters 2" into map at bottom and to an adjacent tear that just passes the neatline.
