The map extends as far east as Moscow, which is shown in the border at right, and as far south as the northern tip of the Black Sea near Odesa. Towns, political boundaries, rivers, forests and mountains are well detailed. The map is decorated with a title cartouche flanked by two heralding angels mounted on hippocampi.

Original outline color in the map with later color in the cartouches, a couple of small spots in the Baltic, an archivally repaired centerfold separation that just enters the border at bottom, and light toning along the edges of the sheet.
