This lot includes the entirety of the splendid run of the Map Collectors' Circle, from volume #1 (1963) to volume #110 (1975). Map Collectors' Circle contains what is still the broadest reaching series of cartographic bibliographies. The series was initiated, edited, and published by the most highly regarded map expert of the 20th Century, Mr. Ronald V. Tooley. Contributors include scholars, dealers, and collectors focusing on a wide range of topics. Collectively, they cover probably the finest compendium of maps and their makers. An indispensable reference work for collectors, libraries, schools, and dealers. Original cream paper wrappers. Also included with this lot is IMCoS 1980-2000 - A History, an overview of the International Map Collectors' Society compiled by Susan Gole.
